Finance essential home improvements, with HRC acting as the lender. Homeowners contract with local repair persons. Loans up to $24,500 at 5.5 percent interest. Your monthly payment will be tailored to your household budget. The payment you can afford each month sets the term of the loan up to twenty years. Income restrictions apply (80 percent of HUD median income or less; see chart).

Install energy-saving measures, improve health and safety for occupants and contribute to the habitability, structural integrity and long-term preservation of a single-family home.
